Infinite Variety, Red & White Quilt exhibit

The American Folk Art Museum just exhibited 650 red and white quilts, amazingly arranged within the Wade Thompson Drill Hall Armory on Park Ave. The collection, on loan from the collection of Joanna S. Rose, was beautifully arranged throughout the space.

Here are some glimpses of the exhibit (which closed on Wednesday -- sorry!).

The hubs and I had a good girl date.  After the quilt exhibit, we went to Alice's Tea Cup and had a nice tea with scones, sandwiches and desserts.  Super cute.  Kids can get fairy wings to wear! I want some!

For more on the quilt exhibit, check out the American Folk Art Museum web page and their exhibit Flickr page (you can add your photos to the pool).
