Hello, again.

I've been gone for awhile... with good reason, I suppose.  I'm expecting our first baby and I've been holed up with first trimester fatigue. Now that I'm well into my second trimester, I don't have that much of an excuse... other than I'm just figuring stuff out. You know, how to work, and do normal things while being pregnant.  Many things seem to cost a lot of energy, taking a lot out of me. So, I try to do one thing a day. Usually it's just something simple like make a meal or do the dishes or go to yoga.  I'm doing a little every day!

During my hiatus I haven't been forgetting about crafting.  Here is a little fun craft from Martha that I might do for the little one's room.

She uses paper for her collage on canvas. I think I will use up my fabric strips.  It is very similar to the birdie counting cards that we have above our bed that we use in place of a headboard (we have yet to get a real bed! Just a metal frame for us, frustratingly so):

(Picture is from Amazon.com)

The cards are 8x10" so we bought a bunch of cheap frames from the dollar store and put them on the wall in two rows of five cards. They are super cute and get lots of compliments!

I'll be back with more crafts... although they may be baby-inspired!

R
